Join us for a grassroots neighborhood-based event for a just, sustainable, healthy and delicious food system here in Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.

Guest speakers, two hours of workshops, and closing with a healthy B-B-Q presented by some of the best restaurants in Fort Greene. Special appearance by Professor Louie, the Poet of the Streets.

12:30-1:00pm - Registration

1:00 - 1:50pm - Introduction by Council Member Letitia James, followed by guest speaker Yonette Fleming of the Hattie Carthan Community Garden and the Bed-Stuy farmer’s market, and performance by Professor Louie, the Poet of the Streets.

2:00 – 2:50pm – Workshop period

3:00 – 3:50pm – Workshop period

4:00 – 6:00pm – closing activites with food, entertainment, & meeting your elected officials.
